Dr. Zhang graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a BDS dental degree in 2007. He served in public institutions National Healthcare Group Polyclinics (NHGP), treating the general population at primary care level, and Health Promotion Board (HPB) School Dental Centre, where challenging young children were treated.

Dr. Zhang moved into private practice in 2012. He engages in continual education, overseas and locally, to serve his patients better. He is an alumni member of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, having trained under renowned dentists such as Dr. Ron Jackson. He has also attended the comprehensive orthodontic course by world-renowned Dr. Derek Mahony.

Dr. Zhang holds memberships in the Singapore Dental Association, the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore and the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore, helping him to keep in touch with the latest dental developments.

Dr. Zhang believes in restoring a person's dental health in order to improve overall health while providing a pain-free and stress-free experience to the best of his abilities and enjoys treating patients of all ages. He spends time to educate patients on how to prevent dental problems, thereby promoting a holistic outcome.

Dr. Zhang has special interests in Implant Dentistry and Orthodontics, including Damon braces, Invisalign clear aligners, and Myobrace myofunctional orthodontics.

He is married with one daughter, and he loves to spend time with his family or have a game of tennis or football.
